Would you be willing to pray for others who are suffering with M.E.?
If you live in Kent, England and would like to pray for someone with M.E., or could help get your church involved to pray regularly for M.E. sufferers, please contact us, telling us as much as possible about yourself or the church.
Please pray for a just outcome for the forthcoming court hearing of NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) versus Fraser & Short (two M.E. sufferers). This outcome will affect the lives of M.E. sufferers dramatically, either for the better or for the worse.
NICE have published appalling guidelines for M.E., putting it more strongly than ever in psychology and ignoring biomedical evidence. These guidelines must be withdrawn before they filter through the NHS.
Please pray individually, or organise groups throughout the world, for the NICE guidelines to be withdrawn. Also, that the judge will insist that biological evidence is included in revised guidlines and that CBT and graded exercise won't be recommended as M.E. treatments. Watch this space for the court date, sometime this autumn 2008.
